Microsoft Releases Windows 11 February 2023 Update
On February 28, Microsoft announced via an official blog post that it will be pushing the February 2023 feature update to Windows 11 users. The update corresponds to the previously rumored version update codenamed 22H2 Moment 2, with major new features including integration of AI-based Start menu file recommendations, taskbar interaction for touchscreen devices, third-party widgets, support for selective video recording in the system screenshot tool, support for multiple tabs in the built-in Notepad app, suggested settings to help users reduce their carbon footprint, improved Braille display, and enhanced voice access. Microsoft also announced a preview version of Phone Link for iOS for Windows Preview Program users and brought personal instant hotspot quick access and web browsing relay features to Samsung phone users.

Sony Introduces Three New Headphones including Float Run
At Sony’s new audio event on February 28, Sony introduced the Float Run, an open-ended sports headset, the WH-CH720N, and the WH-CH520, a headset with 16mm drivers, an open-ended design with the sound unit located next to the ear canal, IPX4 water resistance and HD voice calls, and a battery life of about 10 hours. Both headphones support DSEE Digital Sound Enhancement Engine and 360 Live Sound, with a battery life of about 50 hours and support for HD calls, multi-point connectivity and other features.

Google Announces Several New Features for Android and Wear OS
Google announced a number of new features for Android and Wear OS during MWC 2023, including a new version of the Google Keep widget for Android users, quick note and to-do list creation for Wear OS-based smartwatches, PDF stylus and touch annotation support in the Google Drive app, call noise reduction in the Google Meet app, fast pairing support for Chromebook Bluetooth headsets, emoji mashups and sticker sharing based on Gboard Emoji Kitchen, and fast pairing support for Chromebook Bluetooth headsets. Tokyo Game Show to be Held on September 21
According to media reports, the Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) and other organizations have announced that Tokyo Game Show 2023 will be held from September 21 to September 24 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. Xiaomi Demonstrates 300W Fast Charging Technology
On February 28, Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, demonstrated the 300W second charging technology through his personal Weibo. From the video, the technology is based on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with a peak power of 290W and a duration of 280W of 2 minutes, and the 4100mAh capacity battery takes only 5 minutes to be fully charged.
